Created in 1956, the Cheremshyna danse ensemble, mainly composed of 16-24 years old members, is one of the most reknowned groupe in Bukovia.

Under the lead of choregrapher Orest Sirestskyi, Cheremshyna’s repertoire is composed of Ukrainian national dances coming from Bukovina and Hutsul’shchyna (located in the Carpathian Mountains) as well as Moldavian dances.

Cheremshyna as been part of several festivals in Ukraine, Poland, Hungary and Romania. Dances are accompanied by an orchestra of traditional music (Bayan, violin, tsymbal, clarinet, cornet and percussions.)
