The Építők choir from Budapest is one of the country’s oldest. Founded in 1881, it first started as an exclusively male choir before including women in 1953.
Under Mr. Béla Pallos’s direction, the choir won many awards (Gorizia, Arezzo, Spittal, Tolosa, Tours, and Powell River) and participated in many festivals in all over Europe.
Since 1994, Építők has been directed by Ms. Edit Petróczki. Its repertoire consists of works covering a wide variety of periods.
