This instrumental group was created in 1978 in Carei, a little city in the northwestern part of the country. The orchestra director, Dumitru Iederan is also an instrumentalist, a teacher, a viola maker and a faithful herald of the Codru area folk culture.

Iedera plays authentic folk music and supports many folk shows everywhere in Romania’s areas.

Some instrumental melodies: Codrenescu / Batrïnescu / Românescu / Danţu Mare.
Orchestra IEDERA’s instruments: violin, viola, double-bass, flute, accordion and voices.
